PROJECTS
I wanted there to be a substantial amount of detail in the Chinese lantern as it is an object close to the players view as well as an ornament which requires detail to be accurate to the Chinese traditions. I allowed the model to have a higher Poly-count because of this.
Chinese Inspired Environment.
This is my third year University work which I decided to base completely on traditional Chinese architecture. Most of the designs where based of blueprints and specific architecture rules which Chinese architects at the time had to build toward. One of the most important, the balance between Nature and Architecture, as well as transitional walk through such as courtyards.
Polycount Contest: Throne Room
